RingShot Scorer is a free app that helps archers score and analyze their shooting. It is built to keep your data on your device. No account is required to use it.
Camera. During a scoring session the camera image is analyzed directly on your device to detect arrow impacts on the target. Camera frames are discarded immediately after processing. No photos or videos are stored, and none are ever transmitted anywhere.
Session data. The app stores your scoring results locally on your device: arrow positions on the target, scores, timestamps, and any distance, notes, round names or arrow numbers you enter. This data never leaves your device unless you enable sync (below).
Settings. Your sight configuration and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Sync is off unless you sign in. If you sign in with Google or with Apple, the session data described above is transmitted over an encrypted connection to and stored on the RingShot sync server, so that you can use the same data on several devices. We store the account identifier and the e-mail address that Google or Apple provides, solely to recognize you when you sign in on another device. With Sign in with Apple you can hide your e-mail address; we then only receive Apple's relay address. We do not read any other data of your Google or Apple account and never send you e-mail.
The sync server is operated by Archery Systems (the makers of this app). Sync data is used only to provide the sync feature. It is not analyzed, shared with or sold to anyone.
All locally stored data is removed when you delete sessions in the app or uninstall the app.
If you signed in, delete your account and all data on the server in the app under Account → "Delete account and cloud data". Deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you no longer have access to the app, e-mail support@archery.systems from the address you signed in with and we delete the account for you.
