These terms apply to the RingShot Scorer app and its optional sync service, provided by the operator named in the imprint at https://archery.systems/imprint.php ("we"). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
RingShot Scorer detects arrows on a target face from your phone's camera, scores them, and keeps a training history. Detection is automatic but not infallible: arrows can be missed or misplaced, and lighting, distance and damaged faces affect the result. You are responsible for checking and correcting scores. The app is a training aid; it is not an official scoring device and its results have no standing in competitions unless the organiser says otherwise.
The app is free. All features work without an account. The optional sync service (sign in with Google or Apple) is also free of charge. We may add paid optional features in the future; nothing that is free today becomes paid for existing use without notice in the app.
Your training data belongs to you. The app stores it on your device; if you enable sync it is also stored on our server so you can use it on several devices. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy at https://archery.systems/ringshot/privacy/, which is part of these terms. You can export nothing we do not give back: every sync returns your full data to the app, and you can delete your account and all server data at any time (see https://archery.systems/ringshot/delete-account/).
Use the sync service only for your own training data. Do not attempt to access other users' accounts, disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
We aim to keep the sync service available but do not guarantee it. We may change, suspend or discontinue the service or the app, and will give reasonable notice in the app where we can. Your local data is not affected by the sync service being unavailable.
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages arising from the use of the app or the sync service, in particular from incorrect scores. Liability for intent, gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.
You can stop using the app at any time; uninstalling deletes local data. You can delete your sync account in the app. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms. The current version is always published at https://archery.systems/ringshot/terms/. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
